Kingsbury Community market runs on every Sunday from 9am to 1pm (except on La Trobe University’s Open Day and Christmas Closure period). The market is managed by Diamond Valley Community Support (DVCS) and the income from the market is used to fund Community services by DVCS. DVCS is an independent not-for-profit organisation that provides direct aid, assistance, support and information for the people of Greensborough and surrounding areas.
Since the market is organised at the Latrobe University Car Park ample parking is available but as the market gets busier and busier every year, market goers have to use other Latrobe Uni carparks in the vicinity. Car Park 1 , 2 and Car Park 2A, with access to the market via an underpass under Kingsbury Drive are available for parking.
The market was previously known as Greensborough Community Market followed by La Trobe Community Market and now Kingsbury Drive Community Market.
Apart from food stalls that sell Turkish, Tibetan and Western food, this market is also the best place to buy raw honey, plants, vegetables, hardwares and other household items. Dogs on lead are allowed is just another bonus point.
